Siem de Boer is a spatial artist based in Utrecht. Working with video, sound, architecture and sculptural materials. Siem's artistic practice revolves around the concepts of collapse, showcasing a deconstructed sculpturality that interacts with the surrounding environment and landscapes, enabling viewers to perceive and criticize beyond the confines of dominating narratives.

While currently researching the effects of architecture on the human body, His work delves into subjects such as(dutch) heritage, industry, architecture, as well as interpersonal and local stories, fostering a multidimensional dialogue.

While working with digital means, Siem tries to bridge certain digital properties back into the physical. Through materials like stone, metal, wood, projection and print a new sensibility is reached, intervening with the original space and the imaginary through installation, digital illustration and performance.
